The New Earth Press & Library

Your story was never meant to end with you.

There may be a story living inside you that you have carried for years. A lesson you learned the hard way. A journey that changed you. A vision that could help someone imagine what is possible.

You do not need to know how to write a book yet. You only need a story in your heart and the willingness to begin telling it.

Through a personal Story-to-Book Session, I will help you uncover the heart of your story, discover who it is meant to serve, and begin shaping it into a book that can live beyond you.

Includes an up-to-90-minute private session + personalized written Book Roadmap · $149 CAD

Perhaps you have felt this

Perhaps you have felt a book stirring inside you.

You may have journals filled with fragments, voice notes scattered across your phone, memories you return to again and again, or a message you can feel but cannot yet explain.

Maybe you worry that your story is too complicated, too personal, too ordinary, or simply too much. Maybe you can speak about it for hours but freeze when you face an empty page.

You are not too much. Your story simply needs someone who can listen for the thread.

  • I know I have something meaningful to say, but I don't know where to begin.
  • There are too many parts of my story and I cannot see how they belong together.
  • I am a natural storyteller, but not a confident writer.
  • I want what I lived through to help someone else.
  • I want to preserve something important for my children or community.
  • I do not want to publish merely for attention. I want my book to matter.

Self-transcendence through storytelling

From lived wisdom to a living legacy.

There comes a moment when our story stops being only about what happened to us.

The grief we carried may help another person feel less alone. The mistake that humbled us may become wisdom for someone standing where we once stood. The dream that would not leave us alone may plant a new possibility in another human heart.

This is self-transcendence: using what we have lived and learned in service of something greater than ourselves.

At The New Earth Press & Library, we do not begin by asking how a book can make you look important. We begin with a more meaningful question:

If this book were no longer about proving anything about you, what would you want it to give the world?

A story moves outward: from one person, to a family, to a community, to the generations that follow.

A different starting point

Not publishing for prestige. Publishing for purpose.

A meaningful book may build credibility, attract clients, open doors, receive recognition, or lead to speaking opportunities. There is nothing wrong with those outcomes. But they are strongest when they grow from work that contains something real.

Our process begins with service, meaning, and legacy.

Help the reader receive something important

Don’t publish a book to look important. Publish because your message may be important to someone else.

The first step

You do not need the whole book figured out. We begin with one conversation.

The Story-to-Book Session is a private online conversation lasting up to 90 minutes, recorded with your consent, where you can tell your story naturally, in your own voice.

You do not need to arrive with polished writing, a chapter outline, or even certainty about which part of your life should become the book. I will listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, notice the ideas and emotions you return to, and help identify the thread connecting everything.

Together, we will explore:

  • The heart of your story
  • The people your book is meant to reach
  • The transformation, message, or wisdom it carries
  • The experiences that shaped you
  • The possible focus and scope of the book
  • Potential titles, themes, and directions
  • A preliminary structure or chapter journey
  • The most realistic next steps toward writing and publishing it

Who this is for

For people carrying more than a book idea.

This experience is for people carrying a story, a lesson, a body of wisdom, or a vision that may serve someone beyond themselves.

The Survivor

You want what you endured and learned to help someone else find their way.

The Elder or Legacy Keeper

You want your memories, teachings, or family history to remain available to future generations.

The First Responder or Helper

You have witnessed realities others rarely see and carry insights that could help your peers heal or feel understood.

The Empath

You have spent years feeling deeply in a world that did not always understand your sensitivity.

The Purpose-Driven Entrepreneur

You want to share real wisdom that serves your audience and builds credibility because it is genuinely useful.

The Visionary

You carry an idea for a more loving, regenerative, or hopeful future and want others to imagine it with you.

The Parent or Children's Storyteller

You carry a story that could plant courage, compassion, or possibility in a child's heart.

Every storyteller retains ownership of their story. Cultural teachings, community knowledge, family histories, and sensitive experiences must be approached with consent, respect, and appropriate stewardship.

Human process, professional care

Human stories deserve human care.

The process begins with your lived experience, your spoken words, and your intentions. Technology may help organize transcripts, ideas, and early drafts, but it does not replace your voice, your choices, or human editorial judgment.

As a project moves beyond the initial roadmap, The New Earth Press & Library’s intended publishing process is:

  1. 1Your stories, memories, conversations, and voice notes
  2. 2Collaborative story discovery and manuscript development
  3. 3Professional human editing and proofreading
  4. 4Your review and approval
  5. 5Thoughtful design, formatting, and publishing
  6. 6A launch and sharing strategy aligned with the people the book is meant to serve

These later stages describe the broader vision and the potential next stages of the work, not services that are currently included or offered at a fixed price. As the Press & Library grows, they will be offered through personalized proposals and trusted professional collaborators.

Why me

I have spent years listening for the story beneath the story.

I am an author, storyteller, former firefighter, and social entrepreneur. My own journey has taken me from years of emergency service through depression and a search for purpose, two years cleaning forests, creeks, rivers, and beaches, and a two-year bicycle journey across Canada centred on peace, love, harmony, and learning from the people and communities I met.

I have written books, spoken in schools and universities, appeared in media, shared a corporate talk at PepsiCo, and spent years telling stories through blogs, videos, conversations, and stages. I have also co-hosted a small talk show interviewing guests, started The New Earth Podcast, and produced the pilot episode of another person’s talk show. These experiences have taught me how to create conversations where people feel comfortable opening up, speaking from the heart, and discovering meaning within their own experiences.

My mind naturally sees connections between a person’s experiences, the wisdom hidden inside them, and the people who may need to hear them. I do not believe your life needs to fit neatly into a formula before it can become meaningful. Sometimes you simply need someone who can listen long enough to recognize the thread.

The New Earth Press & Library grew from that belief: stories can plant seeds, preserve wisdom, help people feel less alone, and invite humanity to imagine what could be possible.

An early seed

Sometimes one story awakens another.

While I was creating my children’s book, The Little Seed Who Dreamed Too Big, my friend Julie felt inspired after reading it and began creating a children’s story of her own. That moment helped reveal a larger possibility: a book does not only reach readers. Sometimes it gives another person permission to tell the story growing inside them.

The New Earth Press & Library is being built to nurture those seeds.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

No. You can begin by speaking naturally. The purpose of the session is to uncover and organize the story before worrying about polished prose.

The book may begin with your life. Its legacy does not have to end there.

Writing your book is more than arranging words on pages. It is an opportunity to look at everything you have lived, gather the wisdom hidden inside it, and offer that wisdom forward.

It is a way to self-transcend: to allow your experiences, imagination, healing, and love to become part of something greater than yourself.

Long after a conversation ends, your words can continue travelling. They can reach someone you may never meet, help a family understand one another, preserve wisdom for another generation, awaken courage in a stranger, or plant the first seed of an idea that changes a community.

Your book can become a living legacy, touching many lives and contributing in its own way to the world we are creating together.

If there is a story growing inside your heart, perhaps this is the moment to give it the chance to grow.
